IRA Distribution

  • Contact your IRA custodian and follow their procedures to request a “Qualified Charitable Distribution.” You will need our EIN of 04-3491750

  • If so, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution from your IRA that to avoid income tax and receive a charitable tax deduction. Many individuals who are required to take money from their IRA but do not need it for living expenses have chosen to make QCDs from their IRAs to support the work of the pantry.

  • If so, you can make a contribution from your IRA that will qualify as your RMD (Required Minimum Distribution).
